Areni Altun
BHsc BAppSc (Osteo), BSc (hons)Areni completed her five-year double degree with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complimentary Medicine) and Bachelor of Health Science (Osteopathy) at RMIT University and has also completed her honours degree in Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne.

Areni is currently completing her PhD at Monash University within the faculty of Public Health and Preventative Medicine where her research works to improve health care access for people that are systematically marginalised. Areni’s passion for helping people was the reason she found Osteopathy and why she also works as an educator in Public Health and Epidemiology at Monash University. She now uses her knowledge and experience as both an Osteopath and researcher to empower and educate her clients to take charge of their health.

Areni enjoys the diversity that working as an Osteopath brings and treats people of all ages and backgrounds. Areni has experience treating and managing a range of conditions including neck and shoulder pain, low back pain, headaches and migraines as well as work and sporting related injuries. Her passion for helping clients drives her to continually expand her skill set and encourages her to further her understanding of pain and the human body.With extensive anatomical knowledge and an ever-growing curiosity for knowledge, Areni uses a range of techniques for each patient and problem, such as deep tissue massage, joint mobilisation, spinal joint manipulation and dry needling to achieve the best outcome for her patients.
